Chelsea Football Club is one of the biggest and most successful clubs in England, they are also the current Champions of Europe, and the top four in the English Premier league table, they’ve made a tremendous effort in signing players before the end of the January transfer window.
This is a summary of all the Chelsea transfers and signs before the end of the January transfer window.
This effort was made possible with the help of the manager Thomas Tuchel.
Chelsea has been so eager to sign players as one of its players Ben Chiwell is injured and unfit causing a left-back for the Club.
The club has also made effort to call back Emerson from loan to fill in Chiwell’s space, but due to the agreement they had with Lyon, the player is only to come back by the end of the season.
As the team was left with no option, Chelsea recalled Kenedy from Flamengo. Though the Brazilian left-back was meant to head back out on loan, he will now be used to back up Marcos Alonso with Chilwell out for the rest of the season.
The Blues did go and sign 17-year-old Dylan Williams from Derby County and the youngster has already played for the youth side in a remarkable 4-3 win over Liverpool in the FA Youth Cup. However, Williams is currently playing for Chelsea Academy.
As the team was unable to make much signing and transfer, the Academy made quiet signings, see them below…
The Academy went for Mason Burstow from Charlton, though he will spend the remainder of the season at the Valley.
Playing his last game for Charlton against Portsmouth, Burstow was omitted from the matchday squad with manager Johnnie Jackson explaining why he said…
“I believe that a deal is very close and that he will be coming back on loan to us,”
