Tsebebe Moroke keeps the SOULFUL PRINCE 4.0 run going with “Vooslorus,” the seventh track on the producer’s new album. The song lands as part of a twelve-track body of work. It also arrives inside the fourth chapter of his Soulful Prince series.
Vooslorus is built around groove more than vocals. The drums roll loose and unhurried, while the keys sit warm underneath. Moroke gives each element space instead of stacking everything at once. So the atmosphere carries the record, and the arrangement stays clean throughout.
The producer works under the Private School Piano tag he has pushed for years. Besides this album, his catalogue includes “Majobela,” “Sun23 (Amapholas)” with Loxion Deep, and “Best Decision (Remix).” He has also linked with names like Loxion Deep and Juniour Jazz along the way.
Plenty of Amapiano records chase the drop. This one mostly avoids that, and the restraint pays off. It works because Moroke trusts the groove to hold attention on its own.
