N T S A K O XVI brings Shaun 101, Mbuzi and Uncool MC together on “Ama 1K,” the second cut from XVI’s Diary. The track lands early on the album, right after the opening number “Nyakss,” and it carries the weight of setting the tone for everything that follows.
Released through 101 Music and EMPIRE, XVI’s Diary holds eight songs and leans into the Private School Amapiano sound N T S A K O XVI keeps building around himself. Shaun 101 renews a working relationship with him here, while Mbuzi and Uncool MC slide in to round out the room.
He has been busy. Uncool MC and DJ Maphorisa already pulled him onto “Setla” with Focalistic, and his name keeps surfacing on projects from other artists too. So the demand is real, and this album puts him at the centre of it.
“Ama 1K” moves with intent. The verses trade space without crowding each other, and the groove stays loose enough for the features to breathe. It is a record about presence, not noise.
