Fally Ipupa keeps the rumba flame burning with “Dynastie KO,” a deep cut from his huge new album. The track sits at number 32 on XX : Délirium, a 51-song project split into four parts. It lands right after “Emmène-moi” and just before “RDV,” so listeners are already deep in the ride by the time it arrives.
The album came out on September 18, 2026, through Elektra France under Warner Music France. Congolese rumba runs through the whole body of work, and this song leans into that current instead of dodging it. Fally has spent years switching between rumba, ndombolo and smoother Afro-pop, so a project this size gives him room to stretch.
Born in Kinshasa, he built his name in the early 2000s and now carries the “Prince of Rumba” tag. His tenor vocals and guitar work have travelled far beyond the Congo.
Because the album runs so long, slower cuts like this one get space to breathe. It suits an evening playlist more than a dancefloor. Still, the rumba backbone keeps it rooted in the sound that made him.
