Fally Ipupa Nsimba was born in Kinshasa and came up through Congolese rumba, ndombolo and soukous. He has carried the “Prince of Rumba” tag for years, and his tenor vocals remain his signature. He has also worked under Universal Music France and AZ across a long run of albums.
XX : Délirium follows Tokooos II, so this softer moment makes sense in his current stretch. The melody does the heavy lifting here, while the romantic theme takes centre stage. Nothing about it feels forced.
