Limoblaze and Johnny Drille link up on a fresh new record called “Already Loved.”
The Nigerian gospel and Afro-gospel artist stays rooted in his sound here. Johnny Drille, however, brings his gentle songwriting into that same space. It is not the usual combination, which is exactly why it works.
“Already Loved” sits as the opening track on Limoblaze’s four-track project, “Father’s Love,” put out under Reach Records. It also works as a standalone single, running about three minutes and forty-six seconds. Opening a project is no small job, and that placement says plenty about the tone he wanted to set.
The message stays simple and direct. Faith, God’s unconditional love, and the reassurance that every believer is deeply loved. Both artists work from that same ground.
Limoblaze, born Samuel Onwubiko, has spent years blending Afrobeats, hip-hop and gospel into something global. His run of releases has been steady, and this EP keeps that momentum going.
