Joel Lwaga keeps his current run moving with a new single called “Nikumbuke,” and this time Diamond Platnumz joins him. The Tanzanian gospel minister has been busy, so the pairing lands at an interesting point.
It arrives as a single, and Kaniba Creator handled the production. The record also credits Jerry Pius and Eliudi Bayo among its contributors. So there is real studio work behind the song, not just a quick verse swap.
Lwaga records under his own imprint, Heaven Culture Entertainment. His catalog runs from Sitabaki Nilivyo to Good To Go, besides recent singles like Yoyo and Moja. Diamond, however, needs little introduction for Bongo Flava listeners.
The contrast works because both artists stay in character. Lwaga carries the faith and patience message, while Diamond softens his delivery instead of attacking the beat. The result feels reflective rather than loud.
