Mayonnaise Cebisa and Buhle Xulu link up on a fresh new record called “Bafuna Wena.” The track opens his new project and carries a mood built for celebration. It gives traditional Zulu guitar work plenty of room to breathe.
“Bafuna Wena” serves as the title track of his new EP. The song arrived on October 1, 2026, and moves through Amuseio AB for digital distribution. Sihle Dludla handled composing duties, while Mudemude Gumede contributed background vocals. The arrangement pairs energetic South African percussion with guitar-led melodies, so the rhythm never sits still for long.
Cebisa has built a steady catalogue across Maskandi and South African Rock. His earlier releases include “NHLIZIYO DELA,” “IPARIS NO MJOLO,” and the “UNAMA SHENDE” EP. He has also worked alongside names like Nelisiwe Sibiya on past singles, which shows how comfortably he moves between styles.
On this one, he leads while Buhle Xulu answers with vocals that lift the chorus. The result feels rooted in tradition, yet the rock influence keeps things current. It suits a gathering, a long drive, or any moment that calls for good energy.
