Kolaboy keeps his foot on the indigenous rap lane with “Okpoko,” a solo cut on his new album. The song sits at number ten on “Nwa Nwanyi Deeper Life (NND),” a 13-track project that arrived on October 2, 2026. It lands right after “N’aka Mmadu,” which features Aguero Banks and Hugo P, and just before “Letter To My Ex,” with Morravey.

That placement says something. A lone record squeezed between two collaborations has to hold its own weight, and Kolaboy gives it room to breathe. No guest verse, no shared spotlight. Just him.

The Enugu State native, real name Nwodo Chinonso, has spent years building a catalogue rooted in the East. He attended Okpoko Eleven Primary School in Onitsha, so the title carries personal weight. Besides his Kola from the East and Kolapiano EPs, he has worked with names like Flavour and T-Kiss.

Production-wise, the beat leans into the log drum bounce that has become his signature. His delivery stays relaxed, almost conversational, yet the rhythm never slips. It is the kind of track that rewards a full album listen rather than a quick skip.
