Hammerboi keeps pulling from his own catalogue, and now he has shared “Love Letter (Acoustic Version)” for listeners.
The single arrived on March 17, 2024, through Etins Records. It follows “Love Letter (Edamwen),” which landed the same year. Both tracks carry the same title, yet the acoustic take trades the fuller arrangement for something softer. That choice pushes his vocals and melody forward instead.
Hammerboi is a singer, songwriter, and producer from Benin City, Edo State. He is known for threading Benin language and culture into his sound. Besides that, he has built a steady run of releases, including the album SON OF A CARPENTER.
Fans have wanted to hear him handle his own material in a quieter setting. The acoustic version answers that call, because stripped-back records live or die on the voice. His delivery carries the weight here.
