FOLA and Ayra Starr link up on a fresh new record called “treat u right,” off his upcoming album.
The song sits on 9, his sophomore album, a 14-track lineup that also carries “in order” and “it’s over.” Ayra Starr handles the featured spot. She is not a random pick either, because the two have been spotted vibing to “Tornado” together in clips she shared online.
For anyone late to him, FOLA is Nigerian singer-songwriter Folarin Odunlami. He broke through with “alone” and signed to Bella Shmurda’s Dangbana Republik. His debut album Catharsis arrived in 2025, and it carried “golibe” with Victony.
Listeners have been waiting to see how he follows that debut. Pairing with Ayra Starr suggests he is not playing it safe, and the move opens him up to a wider audience. It also puts his name in front of her fans for the first time.
