Ssips and Sobzeen link up on a fresh new record called “Ukweasaba,” and fans wanted more. The South African producer keeps his run going.
“Ukweasaba” arrives under the Solid Sound imprint, with worldwide distribution handled through Africori. It also continues a working relationship that already gave listeners “Jikelele” and “Amasango,” the latter alongside Born Kxng.
Ssips has stayed busy beyond this pair of records. His catalogue carries the single “Amacala,” so the Amapiano crowd knows exactly what he brings to a session.
The new track leans on deep log drums and syncopated percussion. Bass-driven rhythms sit underneath smooth vocal patterns, while the groove stays rooted in contemporary South African dance music.
Nothing about it feels rushed or half-finished. The mood is patient, built for late nights and long drives rather than quick radio moments.
