Kenyan singer and songwriter Bien steps out with a new record titled “I’ll Be Okay,” a song built on hope. The track leans into emotional recovery and the resolve to keep moving when life gets hard.

Bien wrote the song himself, and that personal touch comes through in how direct the message stays. “I’ll Be Okay” is a song for broken hearts, as he put it. It belongs to the build-up toward his album ‘Alusa’, which he has been teasing for a while now.

The Nairobi-born artist is best known as a member of Sauti Sol, the Afropop band that helped shape East African pop. Besides that, his solo run keeps growing. His 2023 album, Alusa Why Are You Topless?, showed how far he can stretch on his own.

Writing about healing is not new ground for him. However, this one feels quieter and more personal than some of his bigger records. It opens space for listeners carrying their own rough seasons.
