Diamond Platnumz joins Xduppy and DJ Maphorisa on the new Amapiano record “Tse Monate,” which also features Focalistic. It arrived on October 29, 2026.
Xduppy and DJ Maphorisa drive the Amapiano direction here, and that pairing is the engine of the whole thing. The log drum work carries the tempo while the guest verses stack on top. Focalistic and the rest of the lineup expand the track’s collaborative energy.
Diamond adds an East African perspective to a sound built in the south. His verse includes a lyrical shout-out to Tandale, the neighbourhood where he grew up. That detail ties his roots to the dance celebration running through the record.
The title is a celebratory phrase commonly understood as “It’s nice,” which matches the upbeat spirit of the song. A lineup this wide could easily turn crowded, yet the production keeps a clear centre.
Cross-border Amapiano records like this one keep redrawing the map of who gets to own the sound. Have you heard “Tse Monate” yet? Tell us your verdict in the comments.
