KITSCHKRIEG links up with Omah Lay, Blumengarten, and 255 on “Gut Genug (Afro Version).”

This release arrives as the B-side from the new Delu Kanam Ensemble 45 on Village Live Records. KITSCHKRIEG handled production duties themselves. The Berlin trio behind the project consists of awhodat, Fizzle, and Fiji, known for their genre-bending approach to minimalist hip-hop and electronica.

Omah Lay brings his signature vocal warmth to the German-language original. Blumengarten and 255 fill out the arrangement with their own character, creating a natural blend of Afrobeats and European sensibilities. The beat stays laid back throughout, making it easy listening for late nights or quiet moments.

Fans who have followed KITSCHKRIEG since their early EPs will recognize the group’s willingness to experiment. This Afro version breathes fresh life into the original while keeping its emotional core intact. It also opens another door for cross-cultural collaboration between German producers and African artists.
