Woza Bakzin and GoldMax link up on a fresh collaborative album called Gqom In Black (GIB), released through Afrotainment. This 14-track project lands as another strong entry in both producers’ growing catalogue of Durban club music.
The album arrived on August 14, 2026, and it leans fully into the raw energy that defines Durban Gqom. Heavy drums and dark electronic sounds carry the project from start to end. The duo also includes the self-titled “Gqom In Black II,” a cut that captures the darker side of their production style.
Several familiar names from South Africa’s dance scene appear across the record. DJ Tira shows up on “Kush’ibhadu,” while Zee Nxumalo and Funky Qla join forces with the pair on “Cosh’ uPin.” LeeMcKrazy, Blaqkidd, Naitor, Assiye Bongzin, Moh, DaLee, and CampMasters also feature.
The collaboration lineup gives the project plenty of variety. But the core focus stays on those club-ready rhythms that keep Gqom fans locked in. This release continues the momentum both producers have built around their high-energy sound.
