South African producer Xduppy opens his upcoming “AMA ROYALE” EP with “Kumnandi Ukuba La,” featuring Angekebabuye MC, Mluusician, and DJ Maphorisa.
The track sits second on the project, arriving through New Money Gang Records with Sony Music Entertainment Africa handling distribution. DJ Maphorisa’s polished production touch gives the record a spacious backdrop. Deep-house influences and jazzy instrumentation blend with those powerful log drums, keeping everything rooted in Amapiano while still feeling laid-back and lounge-ready.
Xduppy, born Gomolemo Gumede, hails from Hammanskraal near Pretoria. He started making music at 13 with hip-hop before finding his home in Amapiano. He previously signed to Kalawa Jazmee Records before establishing BlaqBoy Music. His 2025 “Ghetto Fabulous EP” showed his range, and this new project continues that momentum.
The vocalists bring street-inspired flows that fit naturally into the arrangement. Their performances give the record character without overpowering the production.
