Mbosso teams up with Nandy and S2kizzy on a warm new afrobeats record called “Malaika,” and the chemistry is already turning heads. This is a soothing, angel-themed tune that leans into peaceful rhythms and soft, romantic energy.
The single arrived as part of a busy stretch for the Tanzanian star, following releases like “Kamata,” “Buku Jero,” and “Kipepeo.” Fans got the official music video too, and it has already pulled in over 1.8 million views in its first days. The track is also available across Apple Music, Spotify, and Audiomack as a standalone single.
Mbosso’s journey is worth noting here. He started with the Yamoto Band between 2013 and 2015 before going solo under WCB Wasafi. His debut album, Definition of Love, dropped in 2021, and he later launched his own Khan Music imprint. That background explains why this collab feels so confident.
Bringing Nandy and S2kizzy into the fold adds lush harmonies and deeper texture to the record. The result is something built for quiet nights rather than loud parties, and that choice fits his current creative direction well. It also keeps his momentum rolling nicely through this release cycle.
