Liverpool thrashes Manchester United with a 4-1 victory as Salah scored a brace

Liverpool overcame Manchester United for the second time this season to move top of the Premier League as Mohamed Salah scored a brace in a 4-0 thrashing on Tuesday Evening.

Liverpool moves two points ahead of Manchester City at the top of the table, but still, needs the English champions to slip up in their remaining seven league games of the season to win the title.

Liverpool scored their first goal in 5 minutes of the match as Luis Diaz stressed the net with an astonishing goal assisted by Salah.

The Egyptian football star scored the second goal for Liverpool which was assisted by Sadio Mane at the 22 minutes of the match.

Mane’s through ball picked out Salah in acres of space and he found Diaz to apply a simple finish from close range.

Sadio Mane gifted Liverpool the third goal assisted by Luis Diaz in the 68th minute of the match.

Two minutes later the fierce rivalry between English football’s two most successful clubs was set aside in a show of support for Cristiano Ronaldo.

Salah scored a brace assisted by Diogo Jota gifting Liverpool their fourth goal before the final whistle.
