Masterkraft slides back into the spotlight with a groove-heavy new record titled “Lavida Loca,” and it moves fast. Fans of the producer already know his drums rarely sit still, and this one keeps that same restless energy. It lands as part of his Party Starter (PS2) project, which carries fourteen songs in total.
The track keeps rhythm at the front. Melodies ride on top of a bounce built for open air and late nights. Production credits for the record were not shared publicly.
Born Sunday Ginikachukwu Nweke in Ajegunle, Masterkraft built his name behind some of Afrobeats’ biggest records. He has worked with Sarkodie, Flavour, Joeboy, Chiké and Ugoccie across different sounds. He also runs under 2nite Music Group.
Here, he stays behind the boards instead of chasing a vocal feature. The groove carries the weight, so the mood stays light and easy. It suits a Friday night or a long drive equally well.
