Masterkraft and Darkua link up on a fresh new record called “Unruly,” a track built around the producer’s beat-making instincts. The Nigerian boardsman handles production here, while the Ghanaian singer carries the vocal load.
It is a single, and it lands on his growing pile of recent output. Apple Music lists it inside a fourteen-track project under Doki Music. So there is a body of work around it, not just a loose drop.
Masterkraft, real name Sunday Ginikachukwu Nweke, came up in Ajegunle, Lagos. He has spent years shaping Afrobeats records and working with names like Joeboy, Majeed, and Chiké. He also has “Hallelu” and “Composure” in his own catalogue.
Darkua is the wildcard, though. Her tone sits outside the usual Afrobeats feature, and that is the point. The rhythm stays lively underneath, but her delivery pulls the song somewhere else entirely. It gives the record its own character.
