Masterkraft and Nananii link up on a fresh new record called “Julie,” pairing his beats with her vocals. The song arrives as another entry in a busy stretch of collaborations from the producer. It also puts Nananii in front of an audience that already trusts his ear.
“Julie” rides on rhythmic percussion and catchy melodies built for easy listening. Masterkraft keeps the arrangement lively without overcrowding it, while Nananii answers with vocals that carry their own character. The record clocks in at four minutes and lands under Doki Music.
Masterkraft, born Sunday Ginikachukwu Nweke, came up in Ajegunle and built his name as a producer, DJ, band director and songwriter. His recent run includes “Fruit” with Joeboy and Majeed, plus “#Hosanna” with Chiké. Besides those, he has worked with Ugoccie on a traditional-leaning collaboration.
Choosing a vocalist like Nananii gives “Julie” a different flavour from his instrumental releases. The move also opens the track to listeners who come for her voice rather than his beats alone.
