Pheelz, the Nigerian producer turned performer, has shared a live take on “Gongo Aso” with Rii and Young Jonn. The record arrives as part of A Rii Set (Live), the performance-driven companion to his A Rii Set album.
Writing sits at the centre of this one. Pheelz built his name behind the boards before stepping forward as a vocalist, so the pen still carries weight here. Rii and Young Jonn fold into that same melodic space, and the live setting strips the song back to voice and feel. The track runs just under three minutes on the project’s tracklist, sitting alongside other live cuts like “ALL NIGHT LONG.”
He has kept a steady output, moving from A Rii Set in June 2026 back to Peace by Piece before it. Young Jonn, meanwhile, remains one of the most in-demand voices in Afrobeats, so the pairing carries real pull. Rii’s presence adds another texture to the blend.
