Cheque keeps his momentum rolling with a fresh solo record he calls “Andale,” a track built entirely around motion. The single arrives with no guest features attached, so every verse belongs to him alone.
Reports describe the sound as a blend of Afrobeats, Afropop, trap-inspired elements and melodic rap. Cheque rides that lively rhythm with rhythmic verses, catchy vocal phrases and an energetic hook. The lyrics stay fixed on hustle, self-belief and refusing to slow down.
He has long moved between rapping and singing, and this record continues that approach. Based in Ondo State, Cheque broke out in 2020 with the trap ballad “Zoom” after signing with Phyno’s Penthauze Records. His debut EP Razor landed that same year.
The arrangement is what carries “Andale” though. It never sits still, because the tempo pushes forward the whole way. That restlessness suits a standalone drop better than a full project would.
