The track follows her four-track “Without You EP,” which arrived in August. So this one lands as a swift follow-up rather than a long wait. She shared the news with a simple Instagram post telling followers the song was theirs.
That return to the dancefloor makes sense. Niniola has built her name in the space between Nigerian pop and house, and she has stayed there for years. Besides her solo work, she is the elder sister of Teni, so music runs deep in the Apata household.
Her catalogue backs that up. “Lagos To Jozi” and “6th Heaven” both carried the same rhythmic pulse. Also, she has been nominated for Grammy awards twice, a rare feat for an Afro-house act.
