WurlD keeps his 2026 run moving with a brand new record called “Da Da,” another solo entry from him. The Nigerian-American artist has never chased trends, so this one lands right where his fans expect him.
“Da Da” arrives after his September release, and it follows singles like “You and I” and “Contagious (Afrohouse Riddim).” There is still no word on a bigger project behind it. So for now, the song sits on its own.
What holds attention here is the writing. WurlD built his name on relatable, minimal lyrics, and that habit carries into this record. He sings around the melody instead of rushing it, letting the words breathe. The production stays warm and uncluttered, so his voice keeps the centre. Nothing gets buried under heavy drums or crowded arrangements.
His catalogue backs that approach up. There was the Love Is Contagious EP, the joint I Love Girls with Trobul project he made with Sarz, then AFROSOUL and My WorlD With U. He has also written for names like B.O.B, Mario and Trinidad James. Yet he still records like an artist with something to prove.
