An impressive roster of amapiano and Afrobeats talent has assembled for the “Biri Marung (Remix)” by Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa.
The remix pulls Davido, Focalistic, Mr Pilato, Ego Slimflow, Tebogo G Mashego and Scotts Maphuma into one room. It also belongs to the collaborative EP “Kings Will Rise.” Genius credits the writing to Kabza De Small, DJ Maphorisa, Davido, Focalistic, Mr Pilato, Ego Slimflow, Tebogo G Mashego and Scotts Maphuma.
Kabza De Small has carried the King of Amapiano tag since 2020, and he runs his own PianoHub label. His catalogue with DJ Maphorisa keeps growing, yet the pair still find new voices to pull in. Besides, the Scorpion Kings chemistry has held steady for years.
Davido brings the Afrobeats weight here, while Focalistic slides in with his log drum instincts. The rest of the cast fills out the groove, so the record never leans on one name alone.
