Beast Viking keeps pushing the 3-Step sound forward with “Ngyekeleni,” a new single that brings four vocalists into one room. Rory Diamondz, Lington, Kayla Praise, and Kwanda The Vocalist all appear on the record.
The track runs six minutes and thirty-nine seconds, so it takes its time building. It arrived under Hype Studios and is performed entirely in Zulu. Kayla Praise carries the central hook, while Lington and Rory Diamondz trade measured verses around her. Kwanda The Vocalist also forms part of the lineup.
The Johannesburg-based producer has crossed 1.1 million Spotify streams and has worked stages in London and Berlin. He has also released records like “Sondela” and “Onjengawe.”
3-Step has been growing fast across Southern Africa, and TikTok has helped push the sound to listeners who might not normally check for it. So this release lands at the right moment. It also puts Beast Viking among the producers actively shaping where the genre goes next.
