The Ghanaian singer and rapper keeps Joker Nharnah on production, his most consistent studio partner. Deep sub-bass and striking guitar melodies carry the beat. But the real weapon here is Black Sherif’s delivery. He shifts between Twi and Pidgin-English mid-thought, and the emotional thread never snaps. That language-switching remains one of the most distinctive tools in contemporary Ghanaian music.

Black Sherif has spent years moving across drill, highlife, and soulful rap since breaking through with “First Sermon.” His debut album, The Villain I Never Was, and the “Take Care of Yourself Blacko” project showed real range.
