DJ Maphorisa Ft DJ Tunez, Wizkid, Daliwonga & Madumane – ABANGANI

The bridge between Amapiano and Afrobeats just got another strong pillar, and “ABANGANI” is the record carrying it. DJ Maphorisa, DJ Tunez and Wizkid built this one together, with Daliwonga and Madumane joining on vocals.

The song sits on the South Gidi EP, a three-track project that arrived on October 24, 2025. Besides “ABANGANI,” the EP holds “Money Constant,” which brings Mavo into the fold, and “Fiesta Forever,” a solo Wizkid cut.

Before the music dropped, studio sessions in London had already sparked heavy speculation online. Clips from those rooms circulated widely, so fans spent weeks guessing what the trio was cooking.

Maphorisa has spent years shaping Amapiano’s global run from South Africa. Also, Tunez carries Afrobeats weight from Lagos, while Wizkid needs no introduction on any continent. Daliwonga and Madumane, however, give the track its local texture.

What lands here is a log-drum foundation underneath smooth Afrobeats vocals. Still, nothing clashes. The tempo stays relaxed, and each voice finds room without crowding the next.
