Fally Ipupa returns with “Euphorie,” a love record lifted from his 2026 album, XX : Délirium, and it is a solo outing. So the pairing here is simply Ipupa and a slow rumba groove. He sounds at home on it.
The song leans on warm, open production that gives his tenor plenty of room. Instead of crowding the mix, the beat steps back and lets the melody do the talking. That patience pays off, because the writing carries real weight. He sings about being completely swallowed by love, and he never rushes the sentiment.
Ipupa has moved across ndombolo, soukous, rumba and R&B for years. Along the way he has recorded with Wizkid, Oxlade and Joé Dwèt Filé, among others. So switching between lanes is nothing new for the Kinshasa-born singer.
Releasing a soft, intimate record in the middle of a busy album cycle is a choice worth noting. It also shows how comfortable he is with quiet material. Not every track needs to be a floor filler.
