Fally Ipupa opens a brand new chapter here with “Résurrection,” a record about healing and learning to love again.
The Congolese star built the song around renewal and hope. It lands as track eleven on Disc 1 of his “XX : Délirium” project, which dropped on September 18, 2026. The album carries fifty-one songs in total, so this one arrives deep inside a long listen. Elektra France handles the release.
Rumba holds everything together here. The rhythm section stays grounded while the melody breathes above it. Fally’s tenor carries that theme without forcing it.
He is often called the Prince of Rumba, and his range stretches across soukous and ndombolo too. Before his solo run, he spent seven years with Koffi Olomidé’s Quartier Latin International. That training shaped how he writes and arranges today.
