Fally Ipupa pulls Stanley Enow and Gaz Mawete onto one beat for a record called “Sidboy.” Three voices, three countries, one groove, and that alone should make you curious enough to press play.
The song lives inside XX : Délirium, Fally’s expansive project. What holds it together is the arrangement, because the beat leaves room instead of crowding anybody. Fally lays the foundation, Stanley cuts in with his verses, then Gaz Mawete rides the same rhythm without breaking it.
Elektra France handled the release through Warner Music France. Fally Ipupa Nsimba, born in Kinshasa, has carried Congolese rumba, ndombolo and soukous across decades. He is also known for Tokooos II and his long run of collaborations beyond Kinshasa.
Stanley Enow remains one of Cameroon’s most visible rap voices. Gaz Mawete, meanwhile, represents the newer Congolese wave. So the switches between singing and rapping never feel forced here, because each artist gets space to breathe.
