Fireboy DML slides back into his own lane with “BY FIRE!”, a record tucked inside his fifth studio album, ZUKO!.
The track carries no feature, so the weight rests on him alone. Reward handled the production, while YBNL Nation and EMPIRE push it out. It lands as part of a body of work his team describes as a more confident and adventurous side of him.
He has built his run on smooth vocals and melodies that move between Afrobeats, pop and R&B. That range has carried him since 2018, when Olamide signed him to YBNL Nation. Peace by Piece arrived in 2025, and ZUKO! follows it.
What holds attention here is the writing. The vocal delivery stays soft, but the rhythm pushes harder underneath. Listen closely to the instrumental arrangement and the lyrical themes, because those pieces feed straight into the mood of the album.
