Fireboy DML and Judah Earl link up on a fresh new record called “Dear Father,” the opening cut from ZUKO!
The Nigerian Afrobeats singer gives the fifth studio album its first word, and the choice sets the mood before anything else plays. It arrived in October 2026 through YBNL Nation and EMPIRE. So the record trades the dancefloor for something quieter.
Restraint carries the whole thing. There is no rush in the vocal, no extra runs to prove a point. Fireboy DML sings like someone working through faith, vulnerability, guidance and perseverance in real time. Judah Earl, meanwhile, gives the track a texture a solo cut might not have offered. It plays like a conversation, not a monologue.
His catalogue has moved a long way since he signed with Olamide’s YBNL Nation in 2018. Albums like Playboy and APOLLO sit beside singles such as “Body” and the Peace by Piece EP. Yet he keeps finding new corners of his sound, and this one suits a still, honest moment.
