After a long stretch of solo releases and quiet studio time, Harmonize finally drops his collab with Stonebwoy on “Beer.” The wait was worth it.
The track lands as track 12 on Harmonize’s 14-track “31” album, a project that runs through heartbreak, devotion, and heavier themes before this one arrives. “Beer” flips the script completely. It exists purely for good times and zero overthinking.
For those unfamiliar, Harmonize is the Tanzanian singer born Rajab Abdul Kahali in Mtwara. He rose to fame after joining WCB Wasafi in 2015 before leaving in 2019 to establish Konde Music Worldwide. His Bongo Flava roots run deep, but this record stretches toward dancehall territory.
Stonebwoy brings his signature swagger, and the blend works because neither artist loses their identity. The hook repeats in a way that gets inside your head quickly. By the second listen, you are already singing along.
This might be the most fun record Harmonize has released this year. But we want to hear from you. Is “Beer” already on your playlist? Drop your thoughts in the comments below.
