Harmonize teams up with Jay Melody on his new single, “Imeshindikana.” This emotional Bongo Flava record pairs two of Tanzania’s most melodic voices.
The song appears as the ninth track on Harmonize’s latest studio album, “31.” That project officially arrived on September 4, 2026, under the Ziiki Media imprint. This offering brings together two voices from the same East African generation, both known for their melodic styles and growing regional fanbases.
Harmonize, born Rajab Abdul Kahali in Mtwara, has carved a path as a consistent force in Tanzanian pop. After leaving WCB Wasafi in 2019, he founded his own label, Konde Music Worldwide, and has since built a catalog that stretches well beyond Dar es Salaam. Jay Melody adds a fresh touch here, carrying the emotional weight of the lyrics with a restrained delivery.
The production stays deliberately minimal, letting both singers breathe without distraction. It feels true to modern Tanzanian sound while still allowing the raw sentiment to land.
