“Hope” arrives as part of the 20TK EP, which also surfaced around the same period. The project has been making noise on Audiomack, climbing to #3 on the Nigeria Hip-Hop Albums Chart while the title track itself reached #26 on the Nigeria Hip-Hop Songs Chart. Edwin Prince Uroko handles background vocals on “Hope,” and the composition credits go to Hugo P himself. The production stays clean and atmospheric, blending warm sounds with a groove that suits both quiet reflection and daily motivation.
Hugo P has been building steadily since his 2022 Dreams & Nightmares EP, and his 2025 album Prodigy showed real growth. He moves comfortably between Igbo rap and Afrobeats, and his catalogue includes singles like “Beretta 92,” “Ofeke,” and “Goat Talk.” He also worked alongside other artists on tracks like “My Street” in 2022.
