It also arrives during a busy stretch for the producer. Her debut album Detour dropped earlier this year, and 2SPIN follows that run. So she is not slowing down.
Born Katlego Mashilane, JayJayy has spent years sharpening her craft behind the boards and in the booth. Her catalog includes Phesheya with Mordecai, plus Di Kgomo and Ncono Sishade. That range shows up again here.
