Kaestyle and eLDee link up on a fresh new record called “Baba,” a standout cut from the Stylish project. The production leans into Afrobeats, but the arrangement leaves plenty of room for both voices to breathe. Kaestyle glides over the beat with smooth melodic runs, while eLDee settles into the groove like someone who has done this for decades. That contrast carries the whole song.
The record lives on Stylish, Kaestyle’s project, and it pairs two different generations of Nigerian music in one room. Nothing about the beat feels crowded, though. The drums stay light, the melody loops gently, and the structure gives each artist space instead of forcing a showdown.
Kaestyle, born in Port Harcourt, studied music at the University of Port Harcourt. He crossed into the mainstream with “My Dealer,” his 2024 hit alongside Omah Lay. He also released the Another Style EP that same year. eLDee, meanwhile, needs little introduction to anyone who followed Nigerian music before Afrobeats had a name.
Handing a legend a beat this relaxed was a smart call. It lets eLDee sound current without chasing trends, and it lets Kaestyle prove he can share a track without losing his own lane.
