Nigerian Afrobeats act Kashcoming has teamed with rapper and producer Zaylevelten on a new single called “CTRL.”
The record lands as a single, and it puts the production front and centre. Zaylevelten brings both a verse and his studio background here. So the arrangement carries weight on both ends. Kashcoming rides the melody while the rapper handles the harder edges.
Kashcoming, real name Okekayode Ashiru, has been building steadily. He dropped “More Kashcoming, Vol. 2” back in 2024. Also, “Hello Hello” arrived in 2025 as a single. His “Saloo” remix featured Buju.
For Zaylevelten, this is a step into a different lane. The pairing gives him room to work alongside an Afrobeats act. Meanwhile, Kashcoming gets a foil who can match his energy without crowding the song. The result feels like two worlds meeting in the middle rather than one artist carrying the other.
