King Promise returns with a new record titled “Can’t Tame Us (Chelsea Anthem).” The Ghanaian Afrobeats singer built this one with Chelsea FC as an anthem for supporters across Africa. It also fits into the club’s wider push to celebrate its bond with African fans and culture.

The record landed in September, and it carries real weight because of who is singing it. King Promise is a lifelong Chelsea supporter, so the song sits where his music, his childhood football memories and Ghanaian culture meet. The video was shot at his own tournament and the Nungua ground where he grew up.

He has stayed busy elsewhere too. His run includes work with Mr Eazi on the joint album “See What We’ve Done,” plus “Terminator” under 5K Records and Sony Music UK. He also became the first African artist to perform in Singapore.

Club anthems often feel like marketing first and music second. This one lands differently because the delivery sounds like a fan singing, not a hired voice. That personal thread gives it pull with both Chelsea supporters and his own audience.
