Magixx keeps his 2026 run moving with a smooth new record titled “Be The One,” a solo Afrobeats cut. The track arrived on September 28, 2026, and it comes through Mavin Global Holdings Ltd. Nobody else is on it, so the whole song rests on him.
He recorded it as part of a busy stretch that also produced “Juice & Liquor” and “Love Don’t Cost A Dime.” The melodic style he built since joining Mavin in 2021 is still intact here. However, he pulls it toward something calmer this time.
His delivery carries the song. The vocals sit high in the mix, and the instrumental stays loose underneath instead of crowding him. That space lets the melody breathe, which suits a singer who works best when nothing rushes him.
Since signing with Mavin, he has moved from the Magixx EP to ATOM, then the debut album I Dream In Color. Each project leaned further into melody, and this single follows that line without repeating it.
