Mihlali The Guy assembles six South African dance heavyweights on a new Gqom single titled “Wo Lo.” The track also brings Dankie Boi, Mr Thela, and Cairo CPT together with vocalists Sino Msolo and Konke.
Universal Music South Africa released “Wo Lo” on June 26, 2026. Production credits go to Mihlali The Guy himself. The song runs six minutes and thirteen seconds, which is long for a dance single.
That extended runtime gives the beat room to breathe, and it works. Sino Msolo and Konke trade vocal lines over hard Cape Town Gqom rhythms. The melodies cut through the percussion nicely.
Mihlali The Guy has been building steadily. His 2023 single “Mama Se Khaya” featured Cnattty, and he dropped the New Wave album in 2025. He also linked with Sigwabs on a separate house project.
This record marks his Gqom debut, so the six-artist lineup makes sense as a statement. The official video already pulled in over a million views on YouTube, while TikTok clips from Sino Msolo generated heavy engagement.
Each producer brings a different texture to the foundation. Dankie Boi, Mr Thela, and Cairo CPT all come from distinct corners of the genre, so the fusion stays unpredictable.
