Ghanaian rapper Oseikrom Sikanii and Medikal link up on a fresh new record called “KPO.”
The single brings two recognised names in Ghanaian hip-hop onto one track. It aims squarely at fans of rap and contemporary Ghanaian street music. There is no word yet on a project or production credits around the single, so the beat itself carries the conversation for now.
Oseikrom Sikanii carries the song with an energetic delivery. He is popularly associated with Kumasi’s hip-hop and trap scene. He has also kept building his catalogue through solo releases and collaborations with other Ghanaian artistes.
Medikal comes in with his familiar rap style and confident delivery. His lyrical expression adds a different energy to the meeting of two rap personalities. Two rappers with different approaches on one beat is always worth a listen.
Besides, “KPO” joins Ghana’s growing pile of contemporary rap collaborations. The pairing opens up something for listeners who follow both scenes closely.
