Otile Brown joins forces with Tanzanian rapper Darassa on a new record called “Kwa Neema.”
The Kenyan R&B singer and songwriter stays in the lane his listeners already know him for here. Darassa, meanwhile, brings his own delivery into the mix. He is well known for blending catchy melodies with lyrics that carry weight, and that is the energy he carries into this one.
It is a pairing that makes sense on paper. East African collaborations like this one put two respected voices on a single track. Otile Brown’s romantic style meets Darassa’s lyrical approach, so fans of both artists get something to chew on. The record is out now for anyone who wants to hear how the two styles sit together.
