PaBrymo is back with a rhythm-first dance record called “Dutty Whine,” and the beat truly carries everything here.
The Nigerian singer and songwriter dropped it as a single ahead of his coming EP, Lust & Hustle. That project is expected September 18th, with Tay Iwar and Saqi among the names lined up. Meanwhile, this one rides on its own energy.
He handles the whole thing alone, with no guest verse in sight. Because the arrangement stays lean, the groove gets room to breathe instead of drowning under stacked layers. Production leans on percussion and movement, so the rhythm does the heavy lifting.
PaBrymo has been building steadily for a while now. His past releases include City Boy and Never Stop Vol. 1, plus singles like “Burst” and “Fine Shiii.” He has also linked with Zlatan Ibile before, so he knows how to share a track when needed.
Here, though, he keeps it solo. The Caribbean dancehall flavour sits beside contemporary African sounds, and the Nigerian side of his artistry never gets lost in that mix. It is a record built for waistlines and speakers, not quiet listening.
