Seyi Vibez, the Lagos street-pop act, has linked up with Quavo for “SWAGUU,” the title track from his album of the same name. The pairing puts the Nigerian singer and the Migos star on one record, and that alone signals a project built with a global ear.
Across fourteen songs, the album runs about thirty-four minutes. “SWAGUU” sits last, so it carries the job of wrapping everything up. Quavo’s presence does not feel tacked on either. Both voices trade space without crowding each other out.
If you have followed Seyi Vibez lately, you know he is Balogun Afolabi Oluwaloseyi, born in Ketu and raised around Ikorodu. He broke through with the five-track EP “Memory Card” in January 2023, which pulled over 6.30 million streams in its first week. Since then he has kept his foot on the pedal.
He also released “FUJI MOTO” and “Children Of Africa,” while “Loseyi Professor” arrived in July 2024. So fans came into this one expecting another step outward, not a safe repeat. Quavo answers that call.
