Skiibii has linked up with Kashcoming and WiiLii for a new record titled “Shakira,” and the combo is worth a listen. The track brings three contemporary voices onto one song, with no word yet on a project or production credits behind it.
What stands out here is the writing. Each artist carries a different pen into the room, and that mix shapes how the record moves. Skiibii handles his part with the melodic rap style he has been running with, while Kashcoming and WiiLii add their own textures to the blend.
Skiibii, born Abbey Toyyib Elias, signed with Five Star Music in 2014. He has stayed busy since, with recent singles including “No Wam,” “Champion,” “SHINO,” and “Piki Piki (Remix).” The demand around his name remains steady, so this link-up gives his collaborators a bigger platform too.
It is a breezy Afrobeats play, built for listeners who like catchy melodies. Nothing about the arrangement feels crowded, because each voice gets room to breathe.
