Stixx gives Johannesburg its own sound on the new instrumental cut “Jozi Express,” a smooth Amapiano production built for long listening. The track arrives as the ninth of twenty songs on his studio album, Destiny.
Released on November 5, 2026, it runs eight minutes and thirty seconds. Rich piano melodies carry the arrangement, while carefully layered percussion and deep log drums fill out the low end. No vocalist appears anywhere on it, so the groove does all the talking instead.
The writing leans on the city itself. Jozi’s fast-moving character shapes the concept, and the track’s gradual progression mirrors that pace. Familiar private-school piano textures sit over a steady lounge-inspired groove, yet the arrangement never feels overcrowded.
Extended Amapiano instrumentals rarely get this much room to breathe. Here, the piano patterns and percussion develop slowly, and that patience pays off across the full runtime.
